Ashley Inloes identified the need for a skimboard with less width (49.5 cm in 49 inches) to make it easier to handle. The result: a high-performance board that lightweight riders and young riders can easily control.

The Mindset's balanced shape makes it easy to handle in switch, It initiates spins effortlessly and offers plenty of pop to get airborne. A base PROPEL™ optimized for speed and water clearance completes the package.

A slim 5/8 inch core: fast transitions

Le 5/8 inch core provides faster rail transitions and a better connection with the water, for a lively and precise ride.

A 1-inch tip: a true skimming feel

The mindset is built around a single-fin setup with a thin (drift) skim of 1 inch at the tail. It offers agility and a direct connection with the board.

Hybrid Carbon construction: lightweight, rigid and strong

The Mindset uses construction Hybrid Carbon™ Innegra, A weave that combines carbon and Innegra for a lightweight, rigid board capable of handling progression. The glass Pro-Formance XL™ strengthens the structure while maintaining the right flexibility, and the method VRT™ (Vacuum Ribbed Technology) guarantees a regular construction, with a continuous core, polyester resin and a textured finish.

What is riding switch? Riding switch involves surfing the wave while steering the board in the opposite direction to its natural direction. The Mindset's balanced shape makes this technique easier.

Is a fin (drift) included? Yes, the Mindset comes with a 1 inch skim fin at the tail and its 1.25 inch screws.

What is Hybrid Carbon construction? It's a fiberglass weave that incorporates carbon and Innegra fibers. It results in a light, fast, and stiff board, used on Phase Five's premium boards.
